It was an unexpected trip to Beijing that gave me a taste for Asia and left a profound and lasting impression...
From my years as a solo traveler, I've retained a love for discovering, observing, collecting, and meeting new people. I work with collages, using materials that inspire me, their texture, their color, and their graphic qualities. Flowers and objects are often my favorite subjects, as they are part of my daily life. I attach great importance to color and ornamental patterns, and I have remained close to the world of textiles, for which I worked for seven years in Paris.
I alternate my painting activity with illustration for children, furnishing textiles, and the full-scale decoration of bars and bistros that are dear to my heart ("Chez Prune," "Les p'tites Indécises," etc., in Paris).
